Feedback: Librarian Services

From the suggesttion box:

I recently attended a workshop at The Townsville Hospital as part of the THHS Research Week, presented by JCU Research Liaison Librarian Dr Jackie Wolstenholme. Aside from being an excellent and informative presentation, it reminded of the invaluable support Dr Wolstenholme provided to me in 2015 and early 2016 in my masters research dissertation.

Whilst other librarians have also been helpful, Jackie was able to translate the 'nuts and bolts' of research and search strategies into a meaningful discussion about the research process. This was an enormous help to me in navigating this mysterious world of academic esearch.

After my sessions with Jackie, I had the thought to provide this feedback to JCU, but it had obviously slipped my mind. Seeing her again last week prompted me to follow this through.

Can you please pass on my sincere thanks to Jackie and the librarian team.

Library response:

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide some feedback about librarian services and particular how invaluable Jackie's support was during you Masters research. I'll make sure I pass it on.
