From the suggestion box:
I suggest that you replace the toilet roll holders in the recently refurbished disabled toilet on the ground floor of the library. Currently, the (drastically thin) paper tears well before a reasonable amount can be removed from the roll, seemingly due to the design of the rolling mechanism which effectively restricts the toilet roll from revolving more than about 3/4 of a revolution. This is crazy anywhere, but especially in a disabled toilet. A possible alternative remedy would be to use thicker toilet paper. However I am not convinced that would overcome the issue.
Thank you for your suggestion, I have passed this onto our Estates staff to investigate. The toilet roll holders and toilet paper in this area are the same as those on the rest of the campus. Nevertheless Estates staff are investigating to see if a better solution is available.
